A good samaritan in Edo State mistakenly transferred N1 million to a lady who had constantly pressured him for his help online. According to the had, he had previously sent 5000 naira to the girl who asked for his help.

On that fateful day, the man mistakenly transferred N1 million which was meant for one of his clients to her without realising it. The client alerted him after he didn’t receive the money in days, the man checked his transaction history only to find out that he had credited the wrong account.

However, the lady upon receiving the cash visited a ritualist with her boyfriend and paid 30,000 naira to make the man forget completely that he had made a mistake, then turned off her phone.

Luckily, they were traced and arrested on one occasion when she answered her phone to inform the man that she never received any amount of money and that he should recheck who has really scammed him thinking her charm was already working.

While reacting to the incident, some social media users joked that the girl has been reading the imaginary book circulating online called ‘How To Borrow Money And Many The Owner Forget”.
