Award winning Nigerian rapper, Olamide Adedeji on Thursday, revealed that he was unable to join protests with seek to bring an end to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, due to his unavoidable absence.

Olamide disclosed that he is out of the country, hence why he could not be a part of the peaceful #EndSARS demonstration in Lagos state.

This is coming after celebrities like Falz and Runtown led the protests while Tiwa Savage, Toke Makinwa, Tacha, Jaywon, Elozonam, DJ Spinall amongst others joined later.

Olamide took to his Twitter account to extend salutations to his colleagues in the entertainment industry for their courage.

He wrote;

“Tiwa Run Toke Falz jaywon jamopyper and so many others… I even see my manager 💪🏾 shiii everybody don fall out on d #EndSARS matter. So sad I’m not in NIG atm to show my support but I’m with d people of Nig in spirit. Everyone who’s out there protesting I salute your bravery.”
